Bits and Pieces

So yesterday, in Marseille, we crossed paths with a guy singing loudly, and quite happily, about owning 1000 rats… We ate nutella crepes and wandered through the street markets… Found a couple gifts for friends… We met a wonderful guy who takes periodic trips to Mali to import the most amazing sculptures and masks… He spoke of Picasso and Dubuffet and many others who have been inspired by ‘primitive art’…. Finally, we wrapped up the night at the police station ( no we didnt get in trouble ) where we met a female police officer on her last day of work… She told us she was quitting her job to move to Nice to open a tattoo shop with her husband…. Quite a day…
